# Warren Zevon – Excitable Boy (Red LP Vinyl)

Released in 1978, \*Excitable Boy\* is the album that made Warren Zevon a household name among rock's most literate listeners, with Jackson Browne producing and an all-star cast including members of the Eagles lending their talents. Zevon's razor-sharp wit and taste for the macabre found their fullest expression here, from the sardonic grandeur of "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner" to the deceptively breezy title track. A cornerstone of the L.A. canyon scene that never quite fit in with it.
